What Were The Actual Numbers?

The total number of sales for the month of March (the last complete month available), was 3,184, a decline of 18.6% from March 2021. (All numbers are year over year).

Median price for all homes was $1,020,000, up 22.1%.

Single-family homes had 1,938 which sank 19.3%, but a median rise of 28.1% to $1,200,000.

Condos came in with 1,007 sales, down 14%, but the median price increased to $750,000, up 30%.

The rise in interest rates is affecting the average monthly payment big time; last March was $3512, and March 2022 was $4,431
